Growing up in Germany exposed me to a lot of the Norse Mythology, as well as to relicts of heathen traditions in my cultural background. Being marked by my skeptical and questioning personality on the one hand, but having a strong emotional need for my spiritual development on the other hand, I found Asatru to be the only religion suiting my ideology. After graduating with the German Abitur in 1997 and producing two Albums with a Punk Rock’n’Roll band, I am currently working on my Bachelor’s Degree in Film scoring at Berkeley College of Music. My goal is to introduce heathen sacred music to the greater Asatru Community, because a Blót accompanied by chanting or a chorale honors our gods in the most special way.
