Two things have delivered me to Asatru. Firstly, pride in my Scandinavian ancestry that has resulted not only from our great history but the respect I have for my immediate ancestors. Secondly, my wife Dorothy, without whom I would have never known such a thing existed.

I’ve never been comfortable with religion but in Asatru I’ve found a way of thinking and set of values that are down to earth, makes sense, and challenge me on a daily basis.

To me community is very important in Asatru. I don’t think you’ve really experienced the religion until you’ve shared it with like minded folks. Luckily for me I get to raise a horn with my fellow Raveners whom in my humble opinion are among the best the Asatru community has to offer.

I’ll tell ya what!!
